As the snow gives way to warmer months, we are excited to invite a talented Summer Cook/Chef to join our Summer Operation Team!
Position: Summer Cook/Chef
Location: Stillwell Hotel, Charlotte Pass Snow Resort, Snowy Mountains
Duration: Summer Season (January - April)
Accommodation: Avaliable on site
Job Description: As a Summer Cook/Chef at Stillwell Hotel, you will have the unique opportunity to showcase your culinary skills against the stunning backdrop of the Snowy Mountains. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes for the Summer Season.
Your role will encompass:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring exceptional taste and presentation.
- Adhering to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene to maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure a smooth culinary operation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook/Chef, preferably in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant setting.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver high-quality results.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team.
- Food Safety and Hygiene certification is a plus.
