About the Role


BHP Operations Services delivers industry leading mining services across BHP operations Australia-wide with specialist capabilities in load and haul, fixed plant maintenance and mobile maintenance. You will provide direct leadership to Supervisors, Engineers and Technical Specialists overseeing compliance with maintenance standards, procedures, systems, process, work instructions and defined mastery verification process to achieve optimal performance outcomes.  Your previous success in leading large teams, experience within Major Projects or Shutdown environments, and ability to build a positive workplace culture will be paramount in setting you up for success.  Within scope for this role will also be the responsibility to engage with key stakeholders, customers and functional support teams to achieve optimised performance outcomes.

You will possess strong engagement, influencing and collaboration skills in order to achieve the high-level outcomes with your team.

 

You will also: 

 

  • Create a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing and coaching your team; 
  • Be a motivated, engaged and supportive people leader; 
  • Provide input into planning processes with a focus on continuous improvement; 
  • Have ownership of improvement projects; 
  • Utilise your strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work across various stakeholders; 
  • You will possess maintenance experience, within a leadership role; 
  • Tertiary qualifications are desirable, however not essential.
