We are seeking and experienced Supermarket Manager for this busy supermarket located in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. The store offers a large variety of grocery items catering to the town and surrounding communities.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a large scale supermarket in a hands on capacity. You will bring your excellent communication and people management skills to the role and offer proven experience in a managerial role within the retail sector. You will have excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and financial management.
As the role is based in the amazing Kimberley Region, there are spectacular sights to visit on your days off.
Work available for partners if relocating as a couple or family.
This is an excellent location to escape the high cost of city living with accommodation included as part of the package.
Package:
- Salary range $90,000-$110,000 Based on experience
- FREE Accommodation-Small self contained unit
- Lead the operations of the supermarket, overseeing inventory management, staff supervision, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and enhance profitability
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and community values
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members
- Utilise data analytics and market insights to make informed business decisions
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the retail sector, ideally in a supermarket environment
- Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and financial management
- Ability to thrive in a diverse and community-focused setting
