The Role
This position supports Council’s direction by supervising and providing leadership to Network Maintenance staff that are responsible for delivering safe and reliable drinking water and the collection, transport, treatment and disposal of wastewater. Coordinating and supervising maintenance personnel in a professional, efficient and confidential manner ensuring the development of good working relationships with all staff and the public.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification relevant to the field – Licensed Plumber and Drainer (Queensland);
- Traffic Management Implementation or ability to obtain;
- Possess or ability to obtain a Backflow Prevention endorsement from the Master Plumbers Association of Queensland;
- Possess or ability to obtain Working at Heights Certificate;
- General Construction Induction (White Card);
- Possess or ability to obtain Confined Space Certification and maintain revalidation; and
- Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle drivers licence.
