About the Role
BMA’s Blackwater Mine Site are seeking a Tyre Bay Supervisor to join the onsite Maintenance Department.
Reporting to our Field Maintenance Superintendent, you will draw on your extensive experience in this area to coach, lead and support a team of dedicated professionals to execute both planned and unplanned works in the Tyre Bay as well as facilitating and guiding the on and offsite repairs of associated wheel assembly components. The roster on offer for this role will be a lifestyle rosters working days and night shifts.
The requirements of this role include first and foremost is focused on creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing & coaching your team. Followed by coordinate and direct maintenance team of Tyre Fitters to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities carried out on site infrastructure and the Heavy Vehicle Tyre Bay.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a trade qualification together with proven maintenance experience. Your committed focus on safety, drive and commitment to lead, support and develop people to reach their potential will see you succeed in this role. Your people and communication skills are of the upmost importance as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Previous experience with 1SAP/Fiori will be beneficial together with the following:
• An overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibilities
• Strong commitment to the field leadership program and the coaching of field leadership activities
• Formal qualifications in Tyre Fitting disciplines are mandatory for this role
• Previous experience leading a high performing team
• Previous experience working within a Mine Site environment is required
• Experience with working on wheel assemblies greater than 57” is very highly regarded
• Experience with working in a Mine Site tyre bay with high levels of continuous improvement in this environment will be highly regarded
• Ability to drive required change by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Solid work management and planning work ethic and planned maintenance work methodology
• Be really comfortable facilitating daily pre-start meetings and make field inspections to determine appropriate scopes of work as required and
• A current C class license
