We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to join a top Makeup company in their Head Office based in Rosebery. This is a newly appointed role due to the success and growth of the brand.
Job Duties:
Assist in negotiating trading terms and final COGS and maintain in master file
Process all supplier orders in conjunction with the demand planner and commercial manager with relevant guidelines communicated
Set and monitor dispatch dates ex-factory dates according to critical paths and delivery timelines
Manage quality control system at factories if required
Manage components and assembly for local manufacturers
Raise and prioritise POs with both local and off-shore manufacturers to meet demand sales expectations
Conduct final bulk testing as part of quality control compliance across every PO/SKU and report any production/shipping faults to management
Maintain inventory data in NetSuite to ensure all product details are correct and up to date
Coordinate between manufacturers and central supplier for the execution of limited-edition trays
Assist in stock management, out of stocks, PO related matters & cycle counts with Finance
Coordinate six monthly stocktake with Warehouse team and ensure report is prepared
Manage the end to end fright for all stock movement from our global manufacturers to the Sydney warehouse by due date.
Oversee tools and supplies for day-to-day operations
Manage 3PLs warehousing and stock management
Manage POS ordering and timelines
Manage the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics and paperwork for sea and air freight ensuring commercial viability
Liaise with customs to ensure we are compliant
Oversee duties and taxes for international freight
Oversee the loading of new line items and pre-packs into the Woolworths partner hub
Understand distributor and retailer supply chain requirements and deadlines
Develop logistic solutions in each distributor / retailer location
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a “best in class” supply chain organisation
Understanding of international freight logistics
Analytical and numerically strong.
Exposure and understanding of Logistics, Warehousing, Sales and Finance departments
High computer literacy with strong understanding of stock management and EDI systems
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel
Be able to influence and challenge as well as adapting quickly to re-prioritise tasks
Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in cross-functional teams
