This is a full-time role based at our Head Office in North Ryde.
About the role:
Assemble data, analyse performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations that support business operations
Coordinate all international sea freight and liaise with service providers
Monitor changes in shipments to ensure on-time arrival
Optimise the scheduling of containerised freight
Management of export shipments and documentation internationally, including stock transfers and terminal stock movements
Cross Trade Shipping Management (documents & shipment file processing)
Liaise with all DC's for stock transfers, terminal stock & stock movements
Approval & sign off of all freight forwarder freight chargers
Report international freight movements and costs to senior management
Management and preparation of all relevant import documentation for Customs
Become a key point of contact for freight movements at Nick Scali
About you:
High proficiency in Excel is required with the ability to pull data and compile reports
Previous inbound sea freight and/or logistics experience
Experience working with a variety of freight forwarders is desirable
Have excellent negotiation skills
Be analytically minded and have excellent problem-solving skills
Have high attention to detail and be highly organised
