What you’ll be doing:
As a Supply Officer, you will provide the first line of regulatory responsibility for the inspection, receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of aeronautical products. You will also manage the company tooling outside of business hours, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Equally essential is the requirement to maintain a safe, compliant working environment.
You will work 4 days on, 4 days off at either Perth Airport, or our Welshpool Warehouse. Shifts are either from 05:00 – 16:00 or 15:30 - 02:30.
Activities Include:
- Consignment receipt registration
- Product formal receipt inspection in line with regulatory requirements
- Rejection of non-conforming products
- Batch document scanning/filing
- Return to Stock
- Segregation of aeronautical, commercial, hazardous and ESD products
- Manual handling activities
- Compliance with CASA regulations
- Compliance with company procedures and work instructions
- Unserviceable rotatable aeronautical product and repairable product processing
- Scrap time expired products
- Pick, pack and dispatch products to repair/overhaul vendors
- Issue of products to aircraft or work orders
- Freight forwarder liaison
- Tool Check In/Check Out
- Book consignments for shipment
- Cyclic and annual stock-takes
- Raise Requisitions
- Re-order Reports
This role offers a base salary. Some over-time is available at 1.5 the standard rate.
Who we’re looking for:
- Aviation supply officer/store person experience is highly desirable
- Understand your and the employers WHS obligations
- Strong attention to detail is vital to ensure the inspection process on incoming products meets the regulatory requirements
- Current driver's licence and ability to obtain Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Ability to obtain internal Receipt Inspection Approval (training is provided by Virgin)
- Computer literacy skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work shift work (4 days on, 4 days off). Must be available to work Monday – Sunday
- Prioritise daily tasks and use initiative to provide colleagues with immediate support during unplanned business requirements
- Forklift Operators Certificate and Dangerous Goods by Air Certificate, highly desirable
