About the role

The Support Officer (SO) role will provide exceptional office support to our regional teams. This is a client-focused role, which is designed to deliver high quality customer service and administrative support to our clients and team.

What will this look like on a day to day basis?

You will be: 

  • Managing client enquiries via phone and email, providing a high level of customer service and redirecting calls where necessary
  • Monitoring, obtaining and responding to client feedback, ensuring all feedback is recorded and complaints are escalated and addressed
  • Being first point of contact for all visitors to the office, assisting with information, questions and support
  • Supporting with maintenance of client files, diary management, travel arrangements and meeting room bookings
  • Providing support with the coordination of local client events including the planning of events and organisation on the day
  • Managing our local fleet by ensuring readiness and cleanliness of vehicles, adhering to scheduled maintenance program and ensuring business continuity in case of vehicle breakdowns
  • Providing other administrative support as required to the regional team

What skills and experience do you need to be a Support Officer?

This position is best suited to someone who:

  1. Can demonstrate exceptional administration and data entry skills, with great attention to detail
  2. Has outstanding customer service skills and the demonstrated ability to interact and relate to clients with an excellent phone manner
  3. Has a Cert III qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Community Services or relevant qualification
  4. Has the ability to work autonomously, and is highly organised with exceptional time management skills
  5. Can demonstrate resilience, patience, empathy and is calm under pressure
  6. Experience in the Aged Care Sector would be beneficial
