- Mon - Fri with some weekend and night shift work
- Perform a range of database systems processing and administrative functions through input, maintenance, reporting and quality checks of data within various systems and communication tools
- Coordinate road activities to measure the safe, maximum, and most efficient use of resources
- Maintain a daily understanding of depot and operations, to assist with coordination of operational actives, such as preparing for vessels, trucking, or depot activities
- Ability to work with the Operations Section to develop solutions by troubleshooting, analysing processes and investigating to resolve issues
- Compile and distribute reports and run sheets and undertake ad hoc data analysis
- Liaise effectively with customers regarding accurate freight movements to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Use and maintain depot OH&S systems
- Create and process purchasing transactions in accordance with Customer Service Level Agreements. Where applicable, coordinate equipment acquisition, resources and supplies ordering for the team.
- National C Class Driver's License (Mandatory)
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with strong ability to manage priorities and deliver in tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise business processes
- High level of interpersonal skills to foster highly effective internal/external relationships
- Intermediate knowledge of relevant systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office
- A working knowledge of Stevedoring, Logistics and / or Road Transport or relevant experience in the transport industry.
- Ability to work weekends and night shifts if required around shipping schedules.
