* Travel around Sydney is required, Car and License is a must.

Cocare are currently seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, respectful Support workers to join our growing team to provide quality supports to our clients. Our clients are based in the Liverpool, Fairfield, Bankstown and a hand ful in the Blacktown, Parramatta and Campbelltown region

About us

Cocare is a registered NDIS Service Provider. We provide domestic assistance, personal care, specialist supports, plan management, support coordination and community access for the Greater Sydney region. The supports provided would be for those that live independently in the community that require in-home supports with their general daily routines. Most of our clients suffer from a mental illness with a handful having a physical disability as well.

About the Role | Tasks & responsibilities

- Assist clients with maintaining accommodation and improve community inclusion

- Support clients with independent living and self-management skills

- Provide individual psychosocial support

- Work with the client in working towards achieving their identified goals

Essential Requirements

- A current NSW Driver's Licence and own motor vehicle

- A current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)

- Completion of free NDIS training modules for Worker Orientation & Infection Prevention and Control for COVID-19

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Valid Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate

- Strong professional boundaries and the ability to follow procedures

- Must have good English and communication skills.
