About the role
We are seeking capable, reliable support workers in the Brisbane area and surrounds to provide assistance with all aspects of daily living of aged and disability clients. We are offering Casual and Permanent Part Time positions.
We are currently recruiting a team of Support Workers to assist a client in the Carindale area. This is not an entry level position. Relevant Certification and Experience is required.
Shifts available include 2-6 hours early morning, 2-6 hours in the afternoon/evening, and weekends. This client has complex needs and full training will be provided by our in-home clinician.
Skills and experience
Mandatory:
- Must have demonstrated prior paid experience in a community setting (6 Months) (aged/disability/mental health etc)
- Current Driving licence and your own comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date
- Current Yellow card or NDIS Worker Screen (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of or enrolment in a Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support or similar.
Desirable:
- Ability to work a variety of shifts time and shift types, including personal care and domestic assistance
