About the role:
To assist the Construction Surveyor in the provision of survey services for road, drainage and maintenance services throughout the City of Belmont.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will need to be in possession of or progress towards a relevant qualification in surveying, recognised equivalent or relevant experience working within the surveying field. In possession of or ability to acquire Basic Traffic Management Accreditation
Previous experience particularly in construction setting out and conducting detailed surveys. The ability to exercise initiative, demonstrate sound judgement and good problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal skills communicating with wide range of people.
A good knowledge and understanding of the following:
Chain of Responsibility legislation as outlined by Main Roads WA and contained in the following:
- Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012
- Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008
- Work Health & Safety requirements.
- Current Load Restraint Guide.
