About YOUR New Role …

Then look no further … we have an excellent opportunity for a Surveyor to join our Rockhampton team on a permanent full-time basis, with a focus on construction and engineering – this is YOUR chance to be part of development within the Rockhampton region!

You will be primarily work in a team with Senior Surveyors, Survey Technicians and Assistants conducting construction and engineering fieldwork. You will be primarily responsible for conducting field survey tasks, as well as undertaking the related office calculations and drafting, ensuring project deliverables, timeframes and budgets are met.

  • Day to day surveying and communication with clients, ensuring their requirements are met
  • Perform field survey tasks independently
  • Supervision of and delegation to others
  • Construction setout calculations within 12d or AutoCAD
  • Processing of raw field data and production of final deliverables
  • Interpret plans and data
  • Verification of data, both client-supplied and internally produced
  • Client communication at a project level
  • Assist with identifying business opportunities, tenders and pricing as required
  • Management of tasks in adherence with project budget

What you will bring to the table …

  • Completed degree or advanced diploma of Surveying
  • Registration with SBQ (or ability to gain registration)
  • Experience in construction and engineering surveying
  • 12d experience will be highly desirable
  • Highly proficient field and office work
  • At least 4 years’ surveying experience including solid construction experience
  • Manual Driver’s Licence
  • Confident and articulate verbal and written skills, with the ability to adjust your communication style to work with a variety of people from site personnel to Project Managers.
  • Living or willing to live in the Rockhampton region – relocation assistance is available for the ideal candidate who wants a change of scenery!
