An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sustainability Support Coordinator to join the team based at our Gold Coast Corporate Office on a 4 month fixed-term, fulltime role. This role is responsible for working in conjunction with the properties within the Accor Apartments and Realty portfolio to report on and drive the removal of guest facing single use plastic items by 31 December 2022.

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities

  • Work with operational leads within the Accor Apartments and Realty portfolio to ensure the appropriate removal of Single Use Plastic items, or where appropriate replaced with approved alternative items by 31 December 2022.
  • Regular tracking and updating of the properties master spreadsheet of actions taken against Single Use Removal Checklist to the corporate team in Paris.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Flexibility in working hours and ability to travel to properties in the Gold Coast region
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely where required
  • Ability to work to a program deadline
