The System Engineering role will provide specialist knowledge and capacity to:
- Assists with the delivery and ongoing support of system components across a complex platform of infrastructure and end user computing services in support of the BICES solution;
- Work closely with the Lead Solution Architect and Change Manager to progress technical changes through the change process;
- Ensure effective security and resilience through ongoing security patching and updates;
- Assist the Business Analyst and Technical Writer to complete and/or review technical support artefacts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); and
- Any other tasks reasonably requested by the program.
- Ability to effectively priorities work and deliverables to meet specified timeframes.
- Deep understanding of some, but not necessarily all, of the following technologies:
- Microsoft Productions including ECM, Windows, SQL, Exchange and Active Directory
- Monitoring and System Management
- Endpoint protection and Patching
- VMware
- LINUX
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the Pegasus support processes as they apply to FVEY support and sustainment activities.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the transition processes to enable effective engagement with stakeholder support towers for the progression of transition activities.
