About the role

Role Location: Melbourne, VIC 
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time Opportunity

As the Analyst - System Management, you will be responsible to assess the performance and quality of activities against defined performance metrics and Identify opportunities to improve the performance of both the system and processes.  You will need to foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and product owners to drive change and improvement across the business and support backlog management to underpin planning and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Quantify current state system management performance via data analysis, identifying key improvement opportunities and associated benefits.
• Develop and implement improvement action plans for core system associated with support to reduce effort, enhance the customer experience and maximize value realization.
• Provide input to support on initiatives identified and support prioritization and planning activities for the squad and wider Change team maximize capacity utilization and value realization.
• Support IOA to define and implement change iteratively for fast ROI, refining the process elements based on “Test and Learn” principles and insights to achieve maximum value.
• Leverage a “just enough analysis” approach, providing prioritized challenge areas and solution options to pursue, working collaboratively with the change team and seeking final prioritization from product owner/business owners.
• Co-ordinate business response to issues, problems and enquiries raised by internal and external governance stakeholder (including Audit, Compliance and regulators) to ensure that issues are translated into clear and measurable actions that have defined ownership, and monitoring.
• Support the business and technology with testing and support escalations including incident management.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Knowledge of the Core Banking Applications utilized across Institutional Operations such as Loan IQ, CACHE/ORION, CARbe, Iron Mountain, and CCMS
• Knowledge of business functions, and the technical systems that support these business functions including the banker and customer experience.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to identify opportunities and measure success through the eyes of the customer
• Ability to priorities and respond to production incidents following appropriate procedures
• Project and/or change management experience with clear understanding of dependencies management and work breakdown structure.
• Experience in analyzing datasets, including strong analytical, numerical, conceptual and problem solving skills and present the information in a meaningful way.
