We provide global consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients.
Our dedicated IT department are responsible for providing technical support to our 600+ staff located across Australia and New Zealand. We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and personable IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team in our growing region.
We are flexible on the location for this role across our APAC business. Working in a productive IT team spread across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, you will be a team player who is able to work autonomously, have excellent people skills, a thirst for IT knowledge and eager to troubleshoot and assist the SLR staff in the APAC Region.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Manage current infrastructure and respond to alerts
- Research questions using available information resources
- Respond and diagnose 3rd Level escalations and Advise 1st & 2nd level appropriate actions
- Work with our 3rd party support providers both Software and Hardware
- Administer Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Teams, MS 365 and managed SQL
- Follow standard Service Desk procedures utilising ITIL Frameworks
- Troubleshoot Mail issues
- Identify and action situations requiring urgent attention
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
Education and experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years in a Systems Administrator role within a large organisation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop & Server products
- Administer Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Teams, MS365 and managed SQL instance
- Experience with Microsoft Administration Tools including WDS, AD, DFS, SQL, DNS, GP
- Experience with an IT Service Management tool
- Experience with Meraki SD WAN
- Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications
- Exceptional customer service delivery
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving techniques
- Ability to work autonomously and in the Team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Any experience within Consultancy or professional service environments will be highly regarded
