Our opportunity:
UnitingCare is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator - Care Management Systems (AlayaCare) to join their wider Enterprise andDigital Applications team.
In this role you will be working on operational and project priorities within the Digital Platforms team across the Aged Care and Community Services pillar of UnitingCare. You will work with broader Digital & Technology Team, managed provider and the vendor to maintain and develop the Applications, as well as the preparation and maintenance of related procedures and associated documentation.
You will be responsible for all functions necessary to support the implementation of the AlayaCare Cloud application integration, working closely with AlayaCare (vendor) to understand the functionality and scope of the Administrator function within the application.
Please note, this is a 2 year, maximum term contract with the potential for extension and hybrid working options.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the vendor in order to learn, understand and support the configuration of the new AlayaCare Cloud application.
- Undertake System Administration training to develop the capability to provide ongoing training to other System Administration users.
- Apply specialist knowledge and analytical skills to maintain, develop and enhance the new application, ensuring integration of source and customer systems and testing of all system modifications to enable continued effective performance in compliance with specifications and user requirements.
- Investigate and develop methods to integrate and/or interface multiple information systems/applications.
- Develop processes and ensure the provision of technical advice as required for any customer issues relating to the new application, including timely and accurate advice on application issues.
- During the Testing and Transition phase, manage the day-to-day functional security, administration and configuration of the UCQ Applications/Platforms whilst ensuring effective audit controls on system changes.
Your skills & experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or an equivalent relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a System Administration role with proficiency in enterprise and productivity applications.
- Proven ability to work at a high level of functionality with strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills with a customer centric and team work ethos.
- Demonstrated capacity to work with minimum supervision and direction and ability to work collaboratively with others when the nature of the task/project requires a team effort.
- Technical Skills; SQL, API, Azure, SaaS, Programming (e.g. PHP, Java), XML, ServiceNow, Atlassian, Microsoft365 suite.
