Robert Half seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our clients team for a 6-month contract. As the IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
Perform system backups and data recovery operations.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in IT systems administration.
Provide technical support to users and assist with any IT-related issues.
Collaborate with other IT team members to complete projects and achieve goals.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
Understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
