Systems Administrator

Position: Systems AdministratorPosition Type: Full-TimeSalary: $170,000 plus superannuation per annumLocation: South Yarra VIC 3141Our client is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator who will be responsible for providing System consulting services and support for ERP implementations, Server infrastructure, upgrades, production support, and troubleshooting. The individual will receive instructions to carry out routine tasks on ERP projects/ support assignments while developing required knowledge, skills pertaining to the ERP.Tasks required include:

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Infor M3 ERP computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
• Install and upgrade ERP components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
• Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Lead helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
• Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
• Troubleshooting to identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
• 10+ years of experience in the M3 Systems Administration.

• Design Infor M3 ERP infrastructure and networks based on customer requirements.
• Installing and configuring Infor M3 ERP application.
• Manage Windows and SQL Server infrastructure.
• VMware Virtualization and infrastructure setup.
• Manage AS400 and DB2 Server infrastructure.
• Assist in data migration planning, & validation.
• Integrating multiple ERP products according to customer requirement.
• Support in go live production configuration. • Post go live Support and Exit documentation the technical specification.
• Manage Cloud server infrastructure for customer (Azure\AWS).
• Assist in post go Customer system administration trainings.
• System Monitoring & Administration.
• ERP application and Server infrastructure issue troubleshooting.
• ERP application and Server infrastructure upgrade.
• House Keeping, Server backup and Maintenance.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies related to Infor M3 and provide recommendations on how to improve system performance and functionality.
• Pre-sales solution designing, estimating, presenting, and documenting.
• Leading teams, mentoring, training/demos, upselling and customer fronting.
• Knowledge of ERP Modules: System Implementation, Integration, Security administration, User management and Providing expert technical recommendations for identified problems which may result in technical blockers to customers applications and server infrastructure.
