Systems Administrator - Projects

Exciting times for Redpath Australia with new projects, along with contract extensions to existing projects throughout Australia. The IT team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join this rapidly growing team.

About the role

• Working as a Level 2-3 IT support officer
• Develop and write project scheduling and implementation plans
• Action project implementation in isolation or within a team
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures including coordinating and communicate with impacted customers
• Maintain data centre environmental and monitoring equipment

We are looking for

• Minimum 5 years experience in a system administrator role
• Excellent working knowledge of –

• Microsoft infrastructure services
• VMWare and Citrix
• IT Security
• Microsoft Exchange
• Demonstrable experience of-

• Strong project management including delegation
• Site deployment and management of deliverables
• Time management and delivering to hard deadlines
• Experience with Lotus Notes is desirable
• Have, or working towards MCSA certification
• A high attention to detail
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A valid drivers licence
