We are looking for a Systems Officer to join the ICT team within Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts (NSLHD and CCLHD). This is an exciting role for a Systems Officer who is ready to take on a new challenge – joining a passionate team of like-minded professionals, seeing their daily efforts positively contribute to their community.
Where you will be working
You will be based at the Royal North Shore Hospital however ICT Operations covers both Northern Sydney Local Health District and Central Coast Local Health District and some travel between NSLHD sites is required.
What you will be doing.
- Providing customer facing first level support and provisioning within IT Operations.
- Participating in activities that directly support and maintain the LHD's ICT services.
- Contributing to related projects.

Remuneration: $1,341.85 - $1,842.39 per week

- Experience in configuration and implementation of enterprise-grade server and storage hardware/firmware and exposure to design and implementation of associated monitoring and management systems.
- Experience in foundational technologies such as: server operating systems, virtualisation, Active Directory, antivirus, Citrix deployment, end-user mobility, reporting and analysis tools.
- An understanding of data storage & backup and related systems in large business environments.
- Knowledge of the implementation and maintenance of server/communications room infrastructure.
- An understanding of effective identification, investigation and response to security incidents or weaknesses in the organisation's security.
