Talent Acquisition Executive (Recruitment)

Your new role

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter who loves connecting with people, has an eye for talent and is passionate about peoples' careers.

This role provides the perfect opportunity to further develop your recruiting skills, as you will be primarily responsible to oversee end-to-end recruitment initiatives of both Mercure Darwin Airport Resort and Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel. You will be able to make this role your own as you become the key Talent Acquisition champion for the properties, by partnering with Leadership and the Talent and Culture team.

This is a fixed term contract (6-months, with a possibility to become permanent)

What will you be doing on a day-to-day basis?

• Partner with our hiring managers to ensure the talent acquisition needs of the business are met, utilising a variety of sourcing methods including internal, external, Seek, Indeed, LinkedIn and networking.
• Drive Recruitment projects (e.g. Open Recruitment Day, etc.) to become an employer of choice in the NT.
• Assist with other ad hoc HR Admin as required.

• Keep up to date with the latest recruitment trends, and partner with local schools and universities.
• The ability to build human connections and be a trusted business partner for our hiring managers
• A hands-on approach, a 'can do' enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work and prioritise in a high-volume environment
• Exceptional administration skills including excellent time management and organisational abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy levels handling multiple tasks
