The Talent Acquisition Officer is part of our People Operations team and provides timely and accurate advice and administrative support in the recruitment process. The role works collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Advisor to enhance the candidate experience and to provide a seamless and proactive recruitment service to the organisation.

Reporting to the People Operations Manager, this position will support the City by:

  • Reviewing documentation initiating recruitment, ensuring the vacancy aligns with the organisational and establishment charts.
  • Supporting in composing advertisements and posting within appropriate media within agreed timeframes.
  • Initiating and overseeing the pre-employment assessments including reference checking, police clearances and medical checks.
  • Maintaining the City of Perth recruitment database to ensure accurate and timely information on the status of vacancies.
