The Opportunity
Based in Canberra (reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition), this 12-month contract opportunity will see you supporting the growth of the Security and Technology business unit.
- Sourcing and headhunting talent utilising sophisticated sourcing methods.
- Engaging with passive talent.
- Delivering on talent pipelines.
- Phone screening and shortlisting candidates.
- Attending networking events to boost your connections.
- Being a part of job briefings and partnering with stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Partnering closely with your TA Business Partner to align on recruitment strategy.
About You
This opportunity will suit you if you are an experienced recruiter or sourcer who is ready to hit the ground running and support our TA Business Partner with a critical requisition load! You will enjoy sourcing for talent via various channels, engaging with candidates and partnering with stakeholders to provide top-tier talent.
Nice to have:
- Tertiary Qualifications in a business or human resource discipline is desirable but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years in an internal operational recruitment role within an engineering or defence environment.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
- Experience using CRM or Candidate Management database software (Bullhorn, Broardbean, and ICIMs are desirable).
