About your new Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist with WESTPAC MSP, you will be collaborative and courageous towards your work. As part of a diverse team, stakeholder management and relationship building skills are crucial factors for your success in this role. Your daily tasks include:

• Work with the Hiring Managers to develop strong relationships, to gain their commitment to the process by building knowledge of their business units, market intelligence and internal changes
• Work proactively to avoid/mitigate potential issues, troubleshoot to resolve problems or obstacles which could not be avoided and document this.
• Ensure Hiring Manager requests are completed in a timely manner and to the highest possible service level by obtaining detailed requisition information from clients during job briefs and utilise that to provide effective service.
• Work with Hiring Managers to identify workforce planning needs and supplier engagement strategies. Resource planning for upcoming work peeks and assisting Hiring Managers to manage existing workforce resources to effectively complete work.
• Mentoring and educating Hiring Managers on the MSP technology and processes.
• Requisition management, Peoplestreme maintenance, conduct job briefs with Hiring Managers and suppliers, supplier Liaison/ management, candidate selection management, resume review/screening, assist with interview scheduling, generate verbal offers, ensure all relevant information is passed onto assigned Workforce Specialist for onboarding of successful candidates, track to SLA’s and report them to MSP Recruitment Manager on a weekly basis with ‘Call to Action’ for SLA’s below target.
• Continuous process improvement / new initiatives and updating operational documentation and materials, including; reference library, SOPs, user guides, training materials, intranet sites etc as these changes are made.
• Partner with assigned Workforce Specialist to ensure smooth transition from sourcing to onboarding.
• Mentor new team members by providing training and support but also sharing knowledge across the business.

• Proven experience of thriving in a fast paced environment with an ability to meet or exceed deadlines without compromising quality, processes or accuracy
• On-site or recruitment agency or account management experience, a natural flair for building and establishing relationships, possess the confidence to influence and negotiate at all levels
• Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail
• Professional and strong communication skills – written & verbal
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
