YOUR ROLE
Reporting to and being mentored by a high profile senior tax partner (one of the best of the best in the industry), you will relish the challenge +satisfaction of:
- Building relationships with +interacting directly with clients to analyse+understand their particular tax problem/dispute with the ATO;
- Devising practical+ commercial solutions to help your clients resolve their tax debt disputes with the ATO;
- Negotiating with the ATO to set up an instalment payment plan, enter into a compromise and/or seeking a remission of GIC (general interest charge) in respect of the tax debt.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
Are an admitted solicitor (or soon to be) with minimum 6 months+ (or more) experience in tax law either with a reputable law firm and/or accounting firm;
Have specific experience dealing with/resolving clients’ tax debt disputes with the ATO;
are a quick learner, proactive, results-driven and self-motivated;
have excellent communication and people skills;
have a serious genuine interest in tax law.
