Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Early Childhood Education & Care and join our vibrant team of Teachers in this exciting permanent part-time (17.5 hpw), opportunity at our Ourimbah Campus.
TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
You hold relevant qualifications and experience in Early Childhood Education & Care and adult education. You possess current sector knowledge and extensive experience and are committed to maintaining industry currency. You have demonstrated experience in establishing relationships with and providing exceptional customer service to diverse individuals. You pride yourself on your exceptional communication skills and your ability support students and facilitate learning. You are a motivated and engaged individual who is passionate about assisting and supporting others to achieve their highest potential. Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following essential requirements:
- Vocational qualifications in Early Childhood Education & Care (Diploma level or above; Bachelor of Education, Early Childhood desired)
- Minimum three years post-qualification industry experience, gained no longer than five years ago
- Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent and a commitment to maintaining competency
- Effective and flexible communication skills to liaise within a range of environments
- Commitment to maintaining and developing technical currency + VET knowledge and skills
- Commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment
- Commitment to quality customer service + ability to contribute to a team environment
