$99,937 (part time pro rata) package includes salary ($88,842 - $105,362) + employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
As a Teacher of Horticulture Trades at TAFE NSW, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the industry by inspiring and guiding the next generation of Horticulture professionals. Based at our Moss Vale & North Wagga Wagga Campus’s, this position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to share your passion and expertise with students.
The role is responsible for a range of activities, which supports learners, and enhances the student learning experience. As a professional educator you will skill the workforce of tomorrow by constructing and guiding the educative process with a mixture of online workshops and classroom delivery. In the role, you will use your industry experience to deliver educational programs and facilitate practical learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role you must:
- Hold a Certificate III in one of the following areas: Horticulture or Landscape Construction
- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- To be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
Highly Desirable
- Highly desirable but not required to hold a Certificate III in the following areas: Chemical Applications
