The ideal applicant will have experience and passion in the fields of Nursing and/or Allied Health to train students as part of our Health Academy. Teachers may be required to teach in a second area whilst trainers who apply require a current Cert IV Training and
Assessment or equivalent in order to deliver the VET health program to students across years 10-12. This position within the college is available on a full or part-time basis depending upon the applicants' skills, availability and preference, however a minimum of 2 days is required for Semester 2, 2023. The successful applicant should ideally be able to commence duties at the beginning of Semester 2, 2023 (10TH July, 2023).
The preferred applicant should have a strong working knowledge of the nursing/allied health industry, health employment pathways and be able to establish strong links with local/regional health industries as students undertake studies in Health Services (Cert II and higher). They should also have or be willing to obtain a Cert IV Training and Assessment.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
