SEDA College WA is an Independent Secondary School and provider of the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). At SEDA College WA we help young people get the most out of life by walking side by side, every step of the way with them. SEDA College WA are taking applications for a range of teaching positions across the College programs for 2023. We are currently recruiting suitably qualified and motivated teachers for the following programs:

  • Fremantle Dockers Sports Development Program (Perth based),
  • West Coast Eagles Sports Development Program (Perth Based),
  • Netball WA Sports Development Program (Perth based),
  • Basketball WA Sports Development Program (Perth based),
  • Cricket Australia Sports Development Program (Perth based),
  • Multisport Development Program (Bunbury based), and
  • Construction and Trade Program (Perth based - new program offering for 2023, 2022 staff commencement)

With the College one teacher, one class model, successful candidates will teach across the curriculum and create safe and applied learning environments. Teachers in our Sports Development Program teach general Physical Education, English and Career and Enterprise, whilst our Construction and Trade Program comprises of general English, Mathematics and Building and Construction. Our programs combine these WACE courses with industry VET qualifications and successful teachers are required to develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders (including parents, students, local community, employers, and local government). Our industry emersed programs means that teaching staff have the opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with our elite industry partners in supporting and implementing their strategic outcomes and goals. Now let's talk about you.

You will be joining SEDA College WA as a pivotal part of a dedicated and successful team. This is an important role, so it goes without saying that you will need to be registered with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) and have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40110 (or be prepared to work towards one), coupled with relevant industry currency; current driver’s licence, current working with children check and a current First Aid qualification (including CPR).
