As the leading incursion company in Victoria and we are looking for educators with two very different levels of experience. We are seeking:

 To deliver curriculum-Aligned Incursions within schools around Victoria. Training and supporting other teachers with their teaching practices may also be required. Experience in mentoring is advantageous to this role. Pay range based on experience.

                                                   AND

(First, second and third year students).

First years will work alongside qualified and experienced teachers only, providing a great opportunity for increasing experience and working with skilled teachers. Those in their second or third year may also work towards delivering sessions. 

Delivering learning programs within schools around Victoria. You will be supported and develop your teaching practices along the way. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a casual position in education, that is flexible, fun and dynamic. School holiday work will also be available. 

We run a large range of curriculum-Aligned Incursions that are delivered in an engaging way. Our methodology focuses on encouraging students to learn with their hands and apply knowledge in practical, unique ways. 

Our programs are consistent with the Victorian Curriculum and are tailored to suit the focus of individual classes. We offer a wide variety of engaging programs including Billy Carts, Science, Shelter building, Toys Over Time, Team Building, Dance and more.  We work in both Primary and Secondary schools with 90% of our work being delivered in Primary schools. 

• We visit schools all over Victoria. Though rural schools are upon request and not expected as part of your day-to-day role.
• Most school visits are within an hour of the CBD.
• Our office is located in Sunshine West. This is where the equipment is collected and returned, therefore living in close proximity to our office is preferred for a healthy work-life balance.

• A work vehicle is provided for your program delivery. Vehicle extras is valued at $15,000 PA when retained within a full time capacity.This covers the vehicle, insurance, registration, fuel, tolls and mechanical work.
• Work-life balance. We are big on reducing workload! No late meetings or any weekends planning. We just focus on the fun stuff and organise staff socials every term. Our meetings are short, infrequent, and during school hours (They are also engaging and collaborative). 
• Security and assurance. In this role you have the lesson plans pre-prepared, removing the stress and overtime that often comes with teaching. You are still then able to add your creative flair and adaptations to suit particular curriculum focuses, student needs or a schools request. 
• An opportunity to work within a business and learn new skills outside of your teaching role.
• Utilise and share your skills to support and grow the company in other sectors, thus diversifying your role.
• We also deliver programs during the school holidays. This means that your annual leave can be enjoyed outside of peak periods if preferred.

All applicants must comply with the following essential criteria:

• Be a qualified educator or studying education 
• Hold a current Working With Children Check
• Must have your own car and current driving license
• Must have some availability to work school holidays.
• Have experience primary teaching or secondary teaching
• Be highly motivated and passionate about hands-on learning
• Honest and reliable
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Be reasonably active, and enjoy experiencing differing schools and situations daily.
• Be adaptable and understanding of school needs

• Experience in mentoring/training teachers (for the senior role)

• Excellent writing skills for blogs, editing, resources and more.
