An exciting opportunity exists to join the Australian National University, working within the busy Recruitment team of the Division of Shared Services. The Division of Shared Services is committed to not only delivering the best possible services to the ANU community now, but looking at how we can improve our services through customer focus, innovation and automation. This position is an exciting opportunity for a HR/Recruitment professional to be part of our journey!
Working closely with the Associate Director, this position provides leadership and support to a team of recruitment professionals and supports a large client group. The Recruitment team work with hiring managers across our client groups to provide best practice advice and great service for recruitment strategy, advertising and preparation of offers and on boarding for successful applicants to the ANU. This role also provides a great opportunity to identify efficiencies, suggest improvements through the running of the day-to-day operations.
- The Recruitment Services, Team Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of the Recruitment team within the Division of Shared Services; consistently providing high quality services and advice on recruitment to ensure that we attract great talent and provide best practice recruitment advice.
- In this role you will build and maintain respectful working relationships with staff within the Shared Services Division and across the University, and in particular, work closely with staff in the Remuneration and Conditions, Provisioning and HR Systems Teams.
- The ideal candidate will have strong team leadership skills, and a passion for delivering quality service to the community alongside technical expertise in the delivery of Recruitment including demonstrated knowledge of working with associated policies and procedures. Demonstrated experience working with senior leaders, a strong understanding of the Recruitment and HR Management Systems (preferably PeopleSoft and Pageup) would also be beneficial for this role
