The Opportunity
The Team Leader be responsible for providing leadership of the Home Care Team with a focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes and meeting all operational requirements. The Team Leader will play a critical role in staff leadership, client relationship management, operational management and business development within the Home Care team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that a highly effective, rapid response support service is provided to clients consistent with the company's policies and procedures, and relevant funding contracts.
- Build and sustain the capability of team members to deliver high quality and professional services to clients (and their carers) through coaching, authorised training and leadership development.
- Lead a culture of responsive, customer-centred service delivery.
- Guide and coach team members in the delivery of relevant customer services consistent with the company's service model, guidelines and procedures.
- Build team members' capability to deliver on operational KPIs.
- Achieve targets including program outcomes and outputs, financial and quality KPIs
- Effective management and supervision of a team across healthcare service delivery
- Developing a high functioning, self-motivated team that has synergy across all programs, activities, functions and tasks within the team
- Ensuring that a highly effective support service is provided to clients consistent with the company's policies and procedures, and relevant funding contracts.
The Team Leader - Home Care is a position overseeing a team across Greater Sydney and is responsible for providing leadership with a focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes and driving client retention across targeted segments and programs. The role of Team Leader plays a critical staff leadership, client relationship management, operational management and business development function within the company.

- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications - in the absence of a completed qualification, a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field
- Experience leading a dispersed service delivery team within a Community Services setting.
- Demonstrated management skills and abilities together with the ability to effectively supervise a team in a complex and ambiguous environment
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills together with the ability to liaise and network effectively with others at all levels
- Conceptual and analytical skills together with the ability to implement solutions to issues or problems
