An exciting permanent opportunity exists within our Customer Experience and Transformation Department for a Team Leader Data and Smart Cities position.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will include:
Creating, evolving and implementing Council’s short and long term transformation strategies in relation to Data and Smart Cities to ensure Council is fit for the future;
Providing input across all Data and Smart Cities strategies and actions across Council;
Ensuring the profile of the team is built across the business and there is more effective embedding of Data and Smart Cities into organisational plans for improved customer experience; and
Fostering a growth mindset approach for Smart Cities enablement and the power of data to challenge old assumptions.
This is a full time role working 38 hours per week. You will be working 7.6 hours per day on with the option of an RDO.
About you
As the successful candidate, you will have:
Extensive knowledge of the provision and support of enterprise Data and Smart Cities services for a large and diverse organisation. Such knowledge would include technical expertise in Data governance, IOTs, requirements gathering and analytical thinking;
Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs;
Highly developed interpersonal skills to influence, persuade and/or motivate others to achieve objectives critical to Council and to resolve conflict; and
Relevant tertiary qualifications in the field of Data and Smart Cities and/or extensive and diverse practical experience.
This position is remunerated at a Band 7.
