About your new branch

Do you have a passion for technology, innovation, and data? If you answered yes, we may have the perfect role for you. We are seeking a range of professionals to join the City’s newly formed Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team within the City Digital and Data (CDD) Branch. The EIM team will be responsible for driving innovation by using modern data and information management practices and ensuring all City information and data are well governed.

About your new role

The Team Leader – Information Governance and Quality is a key leadership role within the City's newly formed Enterprise Information Management team.

The Team Leader – Information Governance and Quality will oversee the development and implementation of a range of City-wide strategic and operation information activities, including:

  • Advising EIM and CDD leadership on appropriate compliance requirements with matters concerning information governance, audit, and quality.
  • Developing and implementing Information policy, procedure, guidance and standards development, monitoring, and reviews.
  • Developing, participating in, and iterating on EIM/CDD strategies, frameworks, and related programmes of work.
  • Advising, supporting, and implementing appropriate information access and security requirements.
  • Developing and implementing quality monitoring and assurance programmes across all City systems of record.
  • Scheduled measurement of City EIM maturity and developed insights and programmes of work to bolster EIM maturity.
  • Liaising with City business areas, and the EIM team and keeping abreast of legislative changes and emerging technology.
  • Management of corporate risks, audit and compliance obligations associated with EIM and enterprise-wide recordkeeping.
  • Developing, implementing, and measuring data quality standards and advice.
The Team Leader – Information Governance and Quality is responsible for:
  • The day-to-day management of the Information Governance and Quality team.
  • People management, coaching and mentoring a team of skilled professionals.
  • Facilitating engagement with City business areas with matters relating to information governance and quality.
  • Providing specialist advice to City business areas on matters relating to information governance and quality.
  • Ensuring programmes of work that ensure the appropriate governance of City systems of records are developed, implemented, and managed.
