The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business as a Team Member (Dayshift Operations Technician) in our Albury site. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght business manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

As a Team Member, you will work in a continuous production environment, operating machinery and ensuring product quality while prioritising safety.

No steel industry experience? No problem! We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who are eager to learn in a manufacturing setting and grow into leadership roles. You will receive comprehensive training and support, paving the way for future career development opportunities.

Working Monday to Friday, the afternoon shift hours are from 5am to 1.30pm.

You will receive a competitive salary starting from $1076.54 per week. You’ll be provided with ongoing training and development, giving you the opportunity to progress to $1199.66 per week. In addition to this, you will be eligible to receive performance bonuses paid quarterly.

What will you do?

With a strong focus on teamwork, you’ll support the warehouse supervisor and be responsible for:

• the day-to-day shift planning and scheduling and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
• servicing customers that attend site whilst ensuring customer waiting time is kept to a minimum;
• support and assist your team with their daily operational activities including safe loading and unloading of trucks; picking and packing of orders to meet set deadlines and operating other processing equipment
• operating a forklift and processing machinery;

• while desirable, the ability to drive a forklift and possessing a current forklift license are not required as training will be provided.
