Role Purpose:
- To use analytical and communication skills to elicit, understand, validate and document requirements for business issues, functions and processes from high-level business needs through to detailed solution requirements.
- The role plays a key role in supporting the delivery of solutions through the SDLC and in Agile delivery methodologies.
- The Business Analyst may work independantly or in a scrum environment on small/ low complexity changes; with guidance as part of BA team on low-medium complexity components of larger initiatives.
About ANZ
- Must have 5+ years of relevant experience banking domain.
- Establish and drive business and technical requirements gathering
- Work closely with developers and testers, project managers and business to define the technical requirements
- Create documentation i.e. use cases, prototypes, technical specifications
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and internally
- Enjoy working in a cross-functional team, taking on a variety of analyst roles, and have the ability to flex between business and technical
- Analyse business and stakeholder requirements to define detailed functional and non-functional solution requirements at the required level of detail and rigor sufficient to support development or make a solution decision.

- The ability to understand and analyse problems and find solutions
- The ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with teams to solve business challenges
- Knowledge of or experience in Agile methods and techniques
- Experience in working as BA on low to medium complexity enhancement or project initiatives
- Excellent communication skills -written and oral.
- Self-motivated and self-managing and ability to work independently

- Knowledge of requirements elicitation, requirements analysis, requirements traceability
- Knowledge of Agile and SDLC delivery methodologies
