About the role
As Technical Co-ordinator (Open Space) you will manage and coordinate technical services to ensure the delivery of maintenance and operational services to parks, sporting areas, reserves and roadside vegetation across all areas of the city.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage a team to deliver horticulture services across parks and sporting facilities
- Manage the Open Space maintenance contracts and associated works
- Review service delivery contracts to ensure continuous improvements throughout the peak growing season
- Prepare work plans and maps for all park and footpath areas to be maintained by contractors
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current Queensland C Class Driver’s Licence
- A Diploma or Certificate in Horticulture or substantial experience
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

This is a permanent full time position at Level 5 with a salary commencing at $93,169 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
