A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for Fixed Wireless Technical Lead reporting to the Executive Manager HFC & Fixed Wireless, where you will join the Fixed Wireless Team within Production Engineering.
A bit about your role
This role will be responsible for supporting Network integration, augmentation, and migration processes within the Tx sub-domain of Fixed Wireless access network.
The role also has a major focus on providing SME level support to engineers who implement network upgrades, testing current & new technologies inside test facilities, introducing new technologies into production, upskilling engineers that deploy upgrades, drafting respective deployment processes, and will be responsible for developing and implementing tools and automation required to upgrade network at scale with minimal error.
Our team works 24x7 and as such, ongoing on call support to assist integration engineers, after hours support are some critical requirements. You will also be required to support escalations from integration engineers while they perform migration tasks, network cutovers, capacity growth and network add, moves and changes (active augmentations) accountability for the successful handover defect free.

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience within telecommunications particularly within a Fixed Wireless domain within RF and Tx engineering along with experience as a subject matter expert having led programs from design to delivery phases.
Your expert understanding of and hands-on experience configuring Ericsson devices will also see you succeed in this role.
