CPS IT Consulting is supporting a long-standing customer recruit for a Technical Lead for a modernisation and platform upgrade program. Our client is a Private Healthcare Service Provider in Melbourne.
This is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract with a Hybrid Working arrangement. The role pays $150k including super over the 9 months, with a substantial benefits package on top.
The head office is in the inner South East Suburbs and you will need to travel into the office as and when required.
A Technical Lead is needed for my client's implementation of a Clinical Health Care System. This system will be used by over 1300 visiting medical officers (VMO) and salaried clinicians.
The role of the Technical Lead is to ensure the successful achievement of project outcomes, focusing on technical aspects such as security, reliability, scalability, and standardization.
Your responsibilities will include guiding technical decision-making, analyzing and designing technical solutions, and overseeing the creation and review of design documents and as-built documents.
You will also be in charge of leading and coordinating the technology build, ensuring that deliverables are thoroughly tested and meet the required standards.
Required skills and knowledge for this role include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships between business and technology teams.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience in validating requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Expertise in solution design, estimation, and project delivery lifecycle.
Knowledge of service delivery governance practices, cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance requirements in a technology context.
Experience in working with vendors.
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a project team.
Familiarity with contemporary delivery practices such as DevOps and Agile.
Proficiency in drafting solution design documentation and other relevant artifacts.
Background in a hospital or healthcare environment, including an understanding of clinical workflows, ICT systems, and healthcare trends.
Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and middleware integration (JCAPS, Rhapsody).
Demonstrated success in delivering large, complex programs of work.
Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure including Networking, Firewalls, Security, VPN, Virtualisation, Storage, and Server is required.
