Citi's Middle Office Performance team sits within our Funds Administration business in Australia, comprising of an integrated Melbourne and Sydney team. This role will focus on upgrading programs for reporting of existing and new clients, representing the region in global product workshops and assist in developing product offering for local clients. The manager will work closely with our Clients, Client Executives, Product Managers to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
In this role, you're expected to:
Product specialist
Participation in client RFPs, due diligence, client presentations to current or prospective clients
Assist in new client onboarding and implementations
Testing and implementing new product functionalities in the Performance System including documentation
Participate in department projects and ensure their completion
Create customized reporting based upon client requirements
Review, update and implement new processes and procedures where needed to enhance offering to clients.
Support testing of new features/functionality for the Performance platforms
Provide feedback on vendor system quality/functionality
Attend to Client queries
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
In-depth knowledge of Performance Systems- Factset, Eagle, Statpro etc.
Strong knowledge of preparation and review of performance and attribution reporting
Advanced knowledge of data requirements to provide performance services
Computer literate with excellent MS Office skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and VBA skills
Strong analysis and problem solving skills
Knowledge of the end-to-end view of the overall performance reporting process
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of all asset classes, fund structures for asset managers, insurance, and superannuation clients.
Working knowledge of accounting systems
Bachelor's degree in a Business related field
6+ years of performance analysis experience in financial services
CFA and CIPM (preferred but not required
