The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a PSL 6 Technical Writer/Manager Technical Information Officer within Planning and Quality Branch.
The Planning and Quality Branch enables the implementation and sustainment of best practice core business processes that support the delivery of DPS’ strategic priorities. We do this through the provision of information, analysis, process management and planning for our clients across DPS. We support the implementation and sustainment of best practice in the core business processes of project management, contract management, asset management and procurement.
The Building Information section, comprising of the Technical Information Office and Strategic Maintenance Planning sub-sections, which support the short, medium and long-term asset and facility management planning of Australian Parliament House (APH). We do this by providing visualised insights and quality information on APH’s asset infrastructure through continual refinement of the building’s knowledge base and alignment to industry best practice.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support to work within a small team responsible for managing and maintaining the building information for the Australian Parliament House, including computer aided drafting (CAD) drawings, technical information and historical documentation collection.
