Manager to Director - Technology

How are you Extraordinary?

We are seeking individuals at the Manager, Associate Director and Director level to join our Tech Divisions, with the below skillsets:

Technology Implementation
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large, complex IT projects with many dependencies and stakeholders and multiple cross-functional teams contributing to the success of the program.
  • Demonstrated experiences architecting and delivering integrations with at least two of the following:
  • MuleSoft or other solutions (e.g., IBM, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, RedHat Fuse, etc.)
  • API Management solutions (AWS, Azure, MuleSoft API Manager, Axway, Mashery, Apigee, etc)
  • One or more on-premises/SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Oracle, Siebel, SAP, Workday, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of on-premise/cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards
  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior level resources, consultants, and clients while leading internal initiatives to grow organisation practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements while evangelising integration methodologies and supporting business case justification to C-level executives.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiar with DevOps CI/CD concept
  • Dynamics 365 (CE) platform implementation experience
  • MS Dynamics 365 (CRM) Certification and a can do attitude
  • An innovative mindset and passion for problem solving enabled through technology
  • Work with a professional Tier 1 consulting environment
  • Highly experienced practitioner with hands on design of complex solutions
  • Degree in Computer Science, or engineering discipline with relevant industry experience and certification (TOGAF certification is desirable)
  • 5+ years' experience in IT, preferably with 2+ years as a Cloud Architect.
  • Practical experience in the design and implementation of public cloud platforms Microsoft Azure (mandatory), Amazon Web Services (highly regarded).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps and associated deployment pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with core infrastructure-related areas such as Active Directory, VMware virtualisation, SAN, and backups (mandatory).
  • Experience with the development of technology architectures (e.g. storage, network, compute) (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of security and IAM (Identity and Access Management) including SSO.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, debugging and tracing on cloud platform.
  • Significant experience in the end-to-end project life cycle - including high level architecture, detailed design & implementation.
Technology Advisory

o A strong interest in expanding your career in Technology consulting and in supporting business to maximise their technology investments.

o 4 or more years of experience in either a professional technology delivery role, technology consulting, business technology management, technology project management or management consulting role.

o Experience in managing all aspects of a project including ability to facilitate workshops, and influence and guide key stakeholders, and coach and mentor team members

o Highly developed written and verbal communication, with proven ability to deliver written deliverable's including reports and presentations.

o Demonstrated experience performing analysis and leading projects in two or more of the following disciplines:

o Business requirements and problem analysis

o Strategy development (business and/or technology)

o Technology architecture (any domain - infrastructure, application, data etc.)

o IT operating model design and implementation

o IT deal services

o Agile delivery methods (including software development, CICD, DevOps)

o Demonstrated ability to apply structured thinking and analysis techniques to complex and ambiguous problems

o Appropriate tertiary qualification/s.

o Experience at a Management Consultancy firm in a similar capacity preferred.

Technology Risk and Assurance

o Solid experience in internal and/or external audit, with additional experience in IT risk management, attestation, project assurance or advisory preferred

o A tertiary qualification (preferably information systems and commerce or related)
A demonstrated track record of client management, project delivery, and business development support

o Demonstrated supervisory and team management experience

o Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

o Experience in managing small to medium size teams and oversee the planning and execution of IT Audit and IT Risk client engagements.

o Experience in evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle while providing performance management for IT audit, risk and assurance staff working on assigned engagements

o Writing and presenting clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful observations and recommendations to clients, and review documented procedures performed and conclusions reached related to projects

o Supporting proposal and business development activities by assisting in the identification of new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing/presenting proposals

o Strong written and verbal communication, particularly when communicating on an engagement to a wide range of stakeholders from senior management to technical teams.

o Ability to lead large projects including facilitating client workshops and coaching and mentoring more junior team members.

o Demonstrated experience in the developing of IT audit and IT risk related plans

o Track record of leading teams

o Demonstrated ability to apply structured thinking and analysis techniques to complex problems

o Knowledge of global frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL and PCAOB Auditing Standards

o Appropriate tertiary qualification (accounting, commerce, information systems, IT or related)

Federal Government and Defence (Canberra and Adelaide)

· Have a strong knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and ISO 27001.

· Be experienced in the collection, presentation and analysis of information.

· Have excellent report writing and communication skills.

· Knowledge and experience with the PSPF, the DSPF and the ISM to communicate with System Owners about cyber security posture

· Hold and maintain an Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance.

· Hold at least one of the following credentials: CISA, CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

· Have good knowledge of the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).

· Have good knowledge of and experience in applying cybersecurity risk management frameworks and risk assessment methodology.

· Have proven experience in the implementation of cybersecurity controls, including assessing the effectiveness of controls.

· Possess a minimum of five years direct full-time information security or cybersecurity work experience.

· Be a certified assessor under the Information Security Recognised Assessor Program (IRAP) or have an equivalent level of demonstrated experience.

Salary Range: $80k - $100k+
