What does the job look like?

As the Telematics Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the Linfox telematics systems which provide unprecedented visibility of real-time fatigue, speed, on-road incident and extensive telematic data. You will play a key role in utilising this capability to standardize monitoring and response to safety incidents, trends, compliance breaches and other events impacting the business including safety management and Chain of Responsibility obligations. You will also support the business to communicate, action and report on these events. Key Areas:

  • Provide camera vision and telematic data support to operations to assist with the investigation of incidents, near misses, and unacceptable and unsafe driver behaviour.
  • Respond to Public Complaints and Compliments including identification of vehicle and driver and providing camera vision and telematics to assist with investigations.
  • Undertake Daily health checks (static image reviews) and camera positioning checks to ensure compliance with In-Cab Technology Policy.
  • Contribute to System & Administration activities such as Risk Subcommittee Reports, BU Presidents Report Packs and Site Monthly Dashboards and Reports.
  • Provide real time management of on-road compliance including identifying fatigue events, over-speed events and monitoring route permit compliance.

Are you the one?

You have an ability to effectively gather information, analyse problems, make sound judgments and develop appropriate solutions in a fast-paced environment. You can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in data gathering, reporting and analysis of performance data is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent Visual data capture and record keeping experience is preferred but not essential with a proactive approach to identifying issues and problem-solving.
  • Incident investigation experience – ICAM and understanding of defensive driving techniques is desirable.
  • Intermediate capability in the Microsoft Office suite.
