About the role
Amazing opportunity to work at our much loved and newly refurbished heritage listed Dawn Fraser Baths. Located in Elkington Park, Balmain Dawn Fraser Baths is a tidal salt-water pool with its own sandy beach at low tide.
This is great opportunity for a suitably qualified, multi-skilled and efficient Operations Team Leader with natural leadership abilities to successfully coordinate the efficient and effective operations of the Dawn Fraser Baths during the summer season. You will have experience in swimming pool operation and supervision, have the ability to work autonomously and have excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills with a strong safety focus.
The Inner West Council Aquatics Facilities operate for 7 days per week from early morning to late evenings.

Remuneration
$69,493.84 - $78,019.76 + Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
1. Minimum TAFE Certificate of Swimming Pool Operations (Certificate II or equivalent)
2. Experience in swimming pool operation and supervision.
3. Current certificates in RLSSA Pool Lifeguard, Senior First Aid, Bronze Medallion, Advanced Resuscitation, and Oxygen Equipment.
4. Proven ability to take responsibility for safety of patrons.
