We are looking for an energetic person to fill the full time role of a Territory Manager for our Fresh Beverage division role based in Toowoomba and servicing the north NSW ranges and south-western QLD region.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful applicant will become a key member of the sales team. This role involves establishing authentic relationships within your territory and continue to grow our sought after products into the route sales channel including small business, café’s, distributors and independents. This role requires a high level of communication skills with both internal and external customers and the ability to negotiate for rewarding outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Identify sales opportunities from market intelligence and sales reports
- Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop and maintain authentic and positive business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer needs through cold calling.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within agreed time frame.
- Supply management with weekly reports on customer needs, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience as a sales representative within Independent Supermarkets / Route channel.
- Sound computer skills in a networked application such as a customer relationship management system or ERP (such as SAP, Tech One or similar).
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiating skills based on business acumen and offering business solutions that meet customer’s needs
- Prioritising, time management and organization skills.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
