Generate, Grow and Achieve
We are looking for a high-energy Territory Sales Manager to develop Hanson’s relationship with concrete customers in the Geelong & Colac market, and aggregate customers in the Werribee market. This role will be based in Geelong, VIC.
You will be growing the business by identifying opportunities to sell the Hanson brand to prospective customers and provide exceptional service offerings within your territory.
In your new role, you will:
Generate new business by ensuring the efficient follow up of all potential customer leads
Maintain a pipeline of further business activity from existing customers
Formulate, develop and coordinate the delivery of account plans for existing and potential customers that achieve mutual business outcomes
Complete structured call plans with prospects through face to face presentations and networking, ensuring effective communication of Hanson’s value proposition
Achieve territory/account sales volume targets as well as new product volume targets
Undertake daily administration tasks including customer invoice control and quotations
Regularly conduct market analysis and gather market intelligence within the industry
This role is a great fit for you, if you have:
Have a background in concrete, aggregates or construction and are looking for a career change
A proven track record of achievement in a sales or marketing role
Inspired and led local and regional teams based across multiple locations
Successfully implemented best practice sales and marketing programs
An innovative and creative approach to delivering value add products and service solutions
Strong strategic, commercial and critical thinking skills
A Positive and influential presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Product knowledge, including awareness of attributes and performance is an asset
