This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Dairy professional to be at the cutting edge of dairy technology and at the forefront of industry changing data capture. Reporting to the Sales Lead – Monitoring, the role suits an individual who demonstrates a deep understanding of sales, territory management principles and strong dairy industry knowledge to help drive our sales to achieve revenue targets.
You will manage and work closely with existing end users, as well building new relationships with end users to drive increased uptake and commitment to purchase Allflex/MAHI (and our company’s Animal Health Intelligence) Monitoring systems and products.
This opportunity will see you collaborating with a motivated and inspiring team of passionate dairy professionals, in a rapidly growing business unit within a global animal health organisation.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
- Maximise the sales and market share growth of Allflex/MAHI monitoring products in line with annual sales budgets, managing a defined geographical territory that includes direct famer customers, as well as advocates and influencers
- In conjunction with the Sales Lead – Monitoring/National Sales Manager you will also execute key account/territory specific sell out initiatives and marketing campaigns
- Deliver product training to industry personnel/end users and conduct on-farm visits to sell Allflex/MAHI monitoring products
- Collaborate with a high performing team, including our company’s Animal Health team members to identify customer leads, and leverage the broader company Animal Health product portfolio
- Identify, establish and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders/influencers and advocates in your territory
- Devise and deliver key end user focused activities within the territory to uncover further Allflex/MAHI monitoring opportunities, maximise sales and provide a high level of service to our existing end users
What You Must Have
- Tertiary qualifications in an Agricultural/Business (or similar) related discipline is desirable, though not essential
- Prior relevant commercial experience in a ‘sales’ related role
- Demonstratable sales skills and commercial acumen
- Well-developed skills in negotiating, influencing and establishing collaborative working relationships
- Highly developed territory management skills including time management, prioritisation and objective setting
- Ability to work autonomously whilst also contributing and collaboratively with team members, despite being physically distanced
- Highly developed written, oral communication and presenting skills
- Highly developed IT skills and capabilities across Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to analyse data and present analysis to external and internal stakeholders
- Regular time and travel away from home is expected according to business needs – Approx. 3 nights per week
